Finca La Almuña has been family-owned for over 40 years, steeped in history and character. We have 8 beautiful bedrooms available, sleeping 16 people, each room comes with their own unique identity. Finca La Almuña is less than an hour drive to the Mediterranean coast and has unrivalled views across Andalucía all the way to Morocco on a clear day.

At La Almuña everything is simple and raw. The Spanish would say “EL Rústico”.

Anything is possible and encouraged, it’s a place to be yourself. You can’t break the rules because there are none. Be spontaneous, there is plenty to do if you are feeling active – yoga, massage, tennis, horse riding, cooking, bike rides, hikes. Or just kick back by the pool with your favourite drink and do nothing.

Fill your glass with some Rioja, light the fire and settle in; read a book, watch a movie, play cards, or just have great conversation with your favourite people. La Almuña has been a guest house for over 40 years and many people over the years have considered it a home away from home. We welcome you to do the same.

The main house was built over 200 years ago and has been in our family for over 40 years. It sits on a 200 acre estate with breathtaking views across Andalucía. Over the years many guests have picked up a paint brush and depicted their own experience in time. Some works of art you will see on display around the house.

  • Low Season

    Low season rates are between late November and late February. These weeks are charged at an average of €3,000 / week.

  • Mid Season

    Mid season is spring: April to June & Autumn: September to November. Weeks will be charged at an average of €3,160 / week.

  • High Season

    High season is between late May & mid-September. These weeks will be charged at an average rate of €4,260 / week.
